Trusting your intuition - a journey withinđ§Ą

Ever had that moment when everything seemed perfect on the surface, but deep down, something just didnât click? đ¤
A couple of months back, I stumbled upon someone who, on paper, was five steps ahead of me in every way! (exactly what I needed at the time!)
She had amazing testimonials, and case studies, and was extremely successful in what she didâŚliterally checked every box! If I had just listened to my brain, I would have instantly spent $1000s on her coaching, trust me.
But⌠there was this incessant nagging feeling, a whisper in my gut that said, âHold up, this might not be it.â
I kept her coaching service in the back of my mind and kept goingâŚnever taking the step until it was a âHell yes!â from my gut.
Fast forward now, I catch up with a friend who spills the tea about her less-than-ideal experience with the same personđđ¤Śđ˝ââ. Turns out, the coaching container was uncomfortable, and the mentor didnât seem to care much at all! There was intense friction building up, and ultimately she had to leave.
I breathed a huge sigh of relief! Phheeww!
It also got me thinkingâhow many times have we dodged a bullet by trusting that inner voice? That uncanny sense of âthis is rightâ or âthis is not it.â
Life, business, entrepreneurshipâtheyâre all like navigating a maze blindfolded sometimes. Too many voices, too many paths.
Thatâs when intuition steps in â your trusted compass that guides you through unexplored realms.
But what does intuition feel like?
To answer this, you need to picture: Trusting your gut, that immediate response, without letting the shadows of fear dim its brilliance. It feels like catching a shooting star before it fades away.
If you are still confused, let me crack the code for you. Think of decisions as different tunes in your favorite playlist. Hereâs how to groove to your own entrepreneurial melody:
1. Listen to your bodyâs whispering tune
Close your eyes and feel whatâs going on inside. Is it a calm song or a jumbled mess? If it feels like a rock concert in your stomach, maybe you should hold off. But if itâs a chill vibe (youâll feel open, excited, or flowy!), go ahead and hit play.
Sometimes youâll feel pressure or an uncomfortable feeling either in your throat, shoulders, back, or gut. Listen to your body.
2. Trust your instant reaction
Your gut feeling is like that snap decision you make without a second thought. Donât let fears drown it down, because they will if you give them time! Trust that instant feeling â itâs your inner guide in this business adventure.
3. Read your emotional signals
Emotions are like different languages. Your intuition speaks the language of good vibes, while fear talks in negativity. Tune in and let the good vibes guide you. Itâs like having a translator for your emotions.
E.g.: Your intuition will never say, âDonât take right!â (thatâs fear speaking). Itâll always say, âTake left!â
4. Embrace the uncomfortable jam
Feel that uncomfortable sensation? Itâs the universe whispering secrets, urging you to pay attention. But wait, there are two types - Negative discomfort advising caution and positive discomfort pushing you beyond your boundaries (the actions you need to take to break the barriers!).
So embrace both, for they are the stepping stones to unlock your full potential.
As a final thought, let your gut be your guiding star in your journey, let it guide you through the paths of expansion and caution. Itâs the best thing you can do and youâll definitely feel worth it.
Are you ready to get started? Get your dancing shoes on, embrace discomfort, and jam out.
Cheers,
Shruthi.
